The Backseat is having its New Jersey premiere at the Paterson Falls Film Festival on Saturday, June 14th at 10:30 AM! The film will be screening for free at the fantastic Fabian 8 Cinema in Paterson, and members of the cast and crew will be in attendance. Then on Thursday, June 26th at 7:15 PM, The Backseat will be returning to New York City for the 8th Annual Manhattan Film Festival. The film will be screening at the legendary Quad Cinema with members of the cast and crew in attendance. The Backseat has been selected as the closing night film at the 2014 Maryland International Film Festival in Hagerstown, Maryland. Lead actor Chris Bellant and I will be in attendance for a Q&A after the screening. For more information on the festival go to http://www.marylandiff.com
Last weekend, The Backseat was given the Texas Film Incentive Award at The Victoria TX Independent Film Festival! Being given the Texas Film Incentive, means I’ll get to shoot my next movie in Texas, and they’ll be providing us with top of the line equipment, as well as many other invaluable resources.
I could not be more grateful for this opportunity, and I absolutely cannot wait to come back to Texas to shoot my next feature in 2015.
