Ryan O’Leary is an award winning independent filmmaker from New Jersey. His narrative films tell deeply personal stories about the human condition, with a focus on immature characters facing mature dilemmas. His most recent film The Lost Weekend features a tremendous cast including Tony Award winner Reed Birney and SAG Award winner Catherine Curtin. The Lost Weekend screened at numerous festivals globally, picking up several awards along the way, including Best International Short at the Manchester Film Festival. The Lost Weekend has been picked up by Klipist for international distribution.
Ryan’s 2014 feature film debut The Backseat had a successful international film festival run before acquiring distribution with Osiris Entertainment. His early films have starred Tony Award winner André De Shields and SAG Award winner Robert Clohessy.
Ryan is currently filming a true crime documentary and has a narrative feature film in development titled Searching for a Former Clarity.
