CMJ Film Festival has hosted over a decade of premieres and advance screenings, including Pulp Fiction, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, Quarterlife, Boogie Nights, American History X, Walk The Line, Kids, Planet in Peril, Elizabethtown, Swingers , Fight Club, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show, Reno 911: Miami, Stranger Than Fiction and Basquiat.
Filmmakers Quentin Tarantino, Michael Moore,Harmony Korine, Wim Wenders, Trey Parker, Anderson Cooper, Darren Aronofsky, Vince Vaughn, and Matt Stone have presented their films and participated in live sessions before CMJ crowds. Soundtrack artists such as Patti Smith, Brian Wilson, David Byrne, Billy Bragg and The Dust Brothers have entertained CMJ audiences with live performances after their respective screenings.
